Upper Michigan, 2008

This last summer, I was able to visit the cottage my family has in the upper peninsula of Michigan. I'd not been up there in close to thirteen years, having been to far to conveniently go up there. What I found visiting again after such a long time was, that while so much in life has changed, up there it was nearly the same. I was able to relax and find time to be creative again. Along with reliving so many memories of my childhood summers when we always went up. Visiting many of the places I had been as a child along with some new ones renewed my spirit and mind. I'm already waiting for next summer in anticpation of visiting again.
